,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELuscious%20potato%20casserole%20(See%20recipe%20HERE),%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20a%20new%20to%20me%20Asparagus%20with%20Buttery%20Bread%20Crumbs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Wash,%20dry%20and%20trim%20off%20the%20woody%20bottom%20portion%20of%20the%20asparagus.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20In%20a%20large%20zip-top%20plastic%20bag%20(if%20you're%20an%20earth%20murderer%20like%20me)%20or%20a%20long,%20shallow%20dish,%20combine%20the%20olive%20oil,%20vinegar,%20lemon%20zest%20and%20juice,%20mustard,%201/2%20teaspoon%20of%20the%20salt%20and%20the%20pepper,%20and%20crushed%20clove%20of%20garlic.%20Add%20the%20asparagus%20and%20toss%20to%20coat.%20Marinate%20at%20room%20temperature%20for%20at%20least%2030%20minutes,%20or%20in%20the%20fridge%20for%20as%20long%20as%20you%20like.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20After%20marinades,%20saute%20asparagus%20until%20tender%20(I%20added%20a%20bit%20of%20water%20to%20make%20them%20more%20tender).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Meanwhile,%20melt%20the%20butter%20in%20a%20small%20skillet%20over%20medium-high%20heat.%20Add%20the%20breadcrumbs%20and%20remaining%201/4%20teaspoon%20salt%20and%20cook,%20stirring%20often,%20until%20the%20crumbs%20take%20on%20an%20amber%20color%20and%20smell%20like%20you%20couldn't%20possibly%20resist%20eating%20them%20by%20the%20spoonful.%20Serve%20the%20asparagus%20with%20crumbs%20sprinkled%20over%20top.There%20are%20two%20Easter%20traditions%20that%20I%20love...dying%20eggs%20and%20Pocking%20them.%20Now%20I%20know%20that%20most%20of%20you%20know%20what%20dying%20eggs%20is,%20but%20only%20a%20handful%20of%20you%20know%20about%20pocking.%20See%20my%20Luscious%20Potato%20casserole%20from%20last%20year%20above%20for%20details.%20And%20stayed%20tuned%20below%20for%20this%20years%20winner.%20Last%20year%20I%20tried%20a%20silk%20dying%20method%20of%20egg%20coloring%20using%20some%20old%20ties%20that%20I've%20collected%20that%20produced%20some%20pretty%20cool%20results%20so%20I%20thought%20I%20would%20give%20it%20a%20try%20again%20this%20year.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIts%20kind%20of%20hit%20and%20miss%20since%20some%20of%20the%20dyes%20adhere%20less%20than%20others.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20blew%20a%20few%20of%20the%20eggs%20so%20that%20I%20wouldn't%20have%20to%20throw%20them%20away%20if%20they%20turned%20out.%20Luckily%20some%20of%20my%20favorites%20ended%20up%20being%20the%20blown%20eggs.%20Including%20this%20groovy%20one.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20effect%20is%20really%20neat%20and%20on%20some%20looks%20a%20lot%20like%20tye%20dye%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20on%20others%20you%20get%20a%20LOT%20more%20detail%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20shiny%20shell%20is%20simply%20vegetable%20oil%20rubbed%20on%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wish%20I%20knew%20how%20to%20get%20the%20fabric%20on%20a%20little%20smoother%20because%20you%20get%20white%20spaces%20where%20the%20wrinkles%20are%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhich%20can%20actually%20create%20a%20neat%20look%20on%20some%20eggs%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20guess%20in%20a%20way%20it%20adds%20to%20the%20look%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20love%20having%20a%20chance%20to%20use%20my%20Deviled%20Egg%20dish%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20some%20of%20my%20egg%20cups%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20think%20the%20Easter%20Bunny%20likes%20them%20too%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBecause%20he%20left%20a%20few%20in%20our%20baskets%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20because%20the%20dyes%20on%20these%20eggs%20are%20not%20necessarily%20food%20safe%20(not%20really%20sure?)%20I%20boiled%20a%20few%20more%20eggs%20to%20eat.%20I%20ran%20out%20of%20time%20so%20didn't%20dye%20these.%20So%20the%20pocking%20contest%20was%20a%20little%20dull....especially%20since%20I%20DIDN'T%20win!!!!%20Randy%20won%20again!!!%20Dang%20him.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20joining%20in%20over%20at%20Little%20Red%20House%20for%20Mosaic%20Monday!%20Check%20it%20out%20HERE.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
