Hazelnut plum muffins

A perfectly scrumptious version of the beloved Croatian cake.

Ingredientes

  • 90g butter, melted
  • 2 ½ cups self-raising flour
  • ½ cup ground hazelnuts
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten lightly
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup plum jam

Direcciones

  1. Combine butter, flour, ground hazelnuts, sugar, egg and milk in large bowl.
  2. Spoon half of the muffin mixture into the greased 12-hole muffin pan.
  3. Make a well in each muffin, spoon in rounded teaspoons of jam, top with remaining muffin mixture.
  4. Bake in the oven at 180˚C for about 20 minutes, or until done.
