%20I%20knew%20I%20would%20be%20disappointed.%20What%20could%20I%20do%20to%20make%20this%20dough%20really%20super%20yummy?%20Thats%20when%20I%20remembered%20my%20Whole%20Wheat%20Carrot%20Bread%20with%20a%20Cream%20Cheese%20Filling.%20Now%20that%20was%20super%20yummy!%20But%20I%20couldn't%20do%20the%20exact%20same%20thing%20now%20could%20I?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOf%20course%20not.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELemons%20started%20dancing%20in%20my%20head%20and%20pulled%20out%20a%20jar%20of%20lemon%20curd...and%20a%20container%20of%20ricotta%20cheese%20and%20went%20for%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh...before%20I%20get%20to%20far%20into%20this...let%20me%20tell%20ya,%20that%20this%20is%20the%2014th%20Bread%20Braid%20of%20the%20HBin5%20group%20headed%20by%20our%20wonderful%20leader,%20Michelle%20over%20at%20Big%20Black%20Dogs.%20Head%20on%20over%20there...check%20out%20what%20we're%20all%20up%20to%20and%20ya%20know.....you%20just%20might%20wanna%20join%20in%20on%20the%20shenanigans!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBack%20to%20blueberries.%20How%20fun%20does%20this%20dough%20look?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20some%20slight%20changes%20to%20the%20original%20recipe.%20I%20halved%20the%20whole%20wheat%20flour%20(as%20is%20my%20preference)%20and%20replaced%20it%20with%20all%20purpose%20flour.%20I%20doubled%20the%20honey%20for%20sweetness...%20I%20don't%20think%20I%20really%20measured%20the%20blueberries.%20I%20figure,%20the%20more%20the%20merrier.%20Oh%20ya...did%20I%20mention%20that%20it%20was%20suppose%20to%20be%20mixed%20berries?%20I%20stuck%20with%20only%20blueberries,%20obviously.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20the%20first%20rise,%20I%20stuck%20it%20in%20the%20fridge%20over%20night.%20The%20dough%20is%20easier%20to%20handle%20after%20a%20good%20nights%20rest%20(aren't%20we%20all?)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20grabbed%20a%20good%20handful%20of%20dough%20and%20rolled%20it%20out%20into%20a%20rectangle.%20I%20spread%20some%20lemon%20curd%20in%20the%20center,%20trying%20to%20leave%20an%20even%20measurement%20of%20dough%20on%20each%20side.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20all%20ingredients%20well.%20The%20flour%20was%20used%20to%20help%20thicken%20it%20up%20cuz%20it%20seemed%20to%20be%20a%20bit%20on%20the%20runny%20side.%20Hind%20site...you%20can%20probably%20halve%20this%20recipe%20and%20have%20plenty.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpread%20enough%20mixture%20over%20the%20lemon%20curd%20to%20cover.%20Fold%20each%20end%20down%20about%20an%20inch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20I%20sliced%20strips%20about%20an%20inch%20wide%20along%20each%20side%20and%20folded%20the%20strips%20across%20the%20cheese%20filling%20as%20if%20I%20were%20folding%20the%20doughy%20arms...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou'll%20end%20up%20with%20a%20%20nice%20little%20dough%20mummy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrush%20the%20top%20with%20an%20egg%20/%20water%20mixture%20and%20sprinkle%20with%20raw%20sugar.%20Cover%20with%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20allow%20to%20rise%20for%20about%202%20hours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20375'%20F%2030%20minutes%20before%20the%20dough%20is%20going%20to%20be%20baked.%20Slide%20onto%20a%20preheated%20baking%20stone%20and%20bake%20for%20about%2045%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20good.%20But%20I%20think%20next%20time%20I'll%20use%20the%20cream%20cheese%20filling%20instead.%20Apparently%20my%20girls%20liked%20it%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBy%20the%20time%20I%20got%20home%20from%20work%20the%20next%20day...it%20was%20looooong%20gone!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20another%20assignment%20as%20well.%20Whole%20Wheat%20Banana%20Bread.%20I%20didn't%20change%20the%20recipe%20at%20all.%20Well...except%20for%20my%20whole%20wheat%20-%20all%20purpose%20switch%20out.%20I%20didn't%20get%20a%20very%20good%20rise%20:(%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20had%20a%20very%20nice%20banana%20flavor%20even%20though%20it%20was%20a%20little%20dense.%20But%20then%20again,%20even%20regular%20quick%20bread%20banana%20bread%20is%20dense.%20But%20I%20have%20to%20tell%20you....this%20bread,%20sliced%20thickly%20and%20toasted....smothered%20with%20butter%20and%20peanut%20butter%20is%20wooooooooonderfuuuuuul!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20you%20ever%20wonder%20what%20to%20do%20when%20you%20have%20a%20very%20small%20amount%20of%20dough%20left%20in%20your%20container?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhy%20not%20roll%20it%20out%20and%20make%20cinnamon%20rolls%20with%20it?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20aren't%20as%20light%20and%20fluffy%20as%20your%20typical%20cinnamon%20roll...but%20they%20are%20delicious.%20I%20brushed%20some%20butter%20on%20the%20rolls%20before%20baking%20so%20make%20them%20more%20moist%20and%20soft.%20This%20particular%20batch%20was%20made%20with%20the%20master%20whole%20wheat%20dough.%20It%20had%20your%20typical%20crushed%20nuts,%20cinnamon%20and%20brown%20sugar%20in%20the%20middle.%20But%20I%20added%20some%20orange%20zest%20to%20the%20glaze.%20mmmmm%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20still%20have%20a%20bit%20of%20blueberry%20dough%20left.%20I%20think%20I%20just%20might%20do%20a%20similar%20thing.%20Maybe%20not%20cinnamon...just%20nuts%20and%20brown%20sugar....and%20a%20lovely%20lemon%20glaze%20over%20the%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wish%2
