Ingredientes

  • 2 c. enriched all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 2 c. grnd quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 tbsp. melted shortening
  • 2 c. sour lowfat milk or possibly substitute 1 2/3 c. sweet lowfat milk with 1 tbsp. vinegar added
  • 1 c. raisins

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour, salt, baking pwdr, soda and sugar. Grind or possibly crush oatmeal and add in to dry ingredients. Add in molasses, melted shortening and lowfat milk. Mix thoroughly; add in raisins. Pour into 2 3/4 x 5 x 9 1/4 inch greased loaf pan; let set for 20 min. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 min. Makes 1 loaf.
