Heart Healthy Fish Chowder

Ingredientes

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 lbs. cod, haddock or possibly "chowder fish"
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 potatoes, peeled & diced
  • 12 ounce. (1 can) evaporated skim lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry onions and carrots in butter. In same pot add in water, fish, salt, pepper and cook 15 min. Add in potatoes. When potatoes are done, add in lowfat milk and cook 15 min more. 4 to 6 servings.
