Ingredientes

  • 12 ounce fresh mushrooms - (to 16 ounce) coarsely minced
  • 3 med potatoes - (to 4) cut in 1" pcs
  • 1 lrg carrot - (to 2) cut in 1/4" slices
  • 4 x garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp coarsely-grnd black pepper
  • 1/2 c. red wine - (may substitute beef broth or possibly water)
  • 1 pkt dry brown gravy mix
  • 1 Tbsp. dry chopped onion - (or possibly a small minced fresh onion)
  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 x soup bone or possibly beef shank

Direcciones

  1. Place potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme and onion in the crockpot then add in the red wine. Toss with gravy mix. Brown the stew meat and soup bone.
  2. Transfer to the crockpot; combine with the other ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hrs. Remove meat from the bone before serving.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
