Ingredientes

  • 3 or possibly 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 1 or possibly 2 celery stalks, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 can English peas
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 sm. can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 c. catsup
  • 2 tbsp. mustard
  • Dash of warm sauce
  • 1 or possibly 2 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 c. uncooked macaroni

Direcciones

  1. Peel tomatoes; cut into small chunks. Place tomatoes, onion, carrots and celery in six qt saucepan; add in about 2 qts water. Add in salt; bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer till vegetables are tender.
  2. Cook beef in skillet till brown; drain. Add in to tomato mix. Add in peas, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, catsup, mustard, warm sauce, jalapeno peppers, garlic salt, garlic, pepper, chili pwdr and thyme; simmer for 30 min, adding water if needed.
  3. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Add in to beef mix. Simmer for 10-15 min longer. Remove jalapeno peppers before serving.
