Herb Buttered Pasta

Ingredientes

  • 4 ounce. packed spaghetti
  • Liquine, or possibly fettuccine
  • 2 tbsp. butter, cut up
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry basil, oregano, thyme or possibly marjoram, crushed
  • Dry dillweed or possibly caraway seed

Direcciones

  1. Cook pasta. Drain well. Return to warm saucepan. Add in butter and desired herb. Toss gently till pasta is well coated. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serves 4.
  2. Lemon - Chive Pasta: Prepare as above except omit herb and add in 1/4 c. snipped chives and 1 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel with butter.
  3. Nutty Cheese Pasta: Prepare as above, except omit herb and add in 1/2 c. minced walnuts, pecans or possibly almonds and 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan or possibly Romano cheese with butter.
