Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme leaves crushed
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lrg red onion thickly sliced
  • 1 lrg green or possibly red bell pepper cut into wide strips
  • 1 med zucchini or possibly yellow squash thickly sliced (1 1/2 c.)
  • 2 c. large mushrooms (6 ounces)

Direcciones

  1. Mix broth, thyme and black pepper. Brush vegetables with broth mix.
  2. Place vegetables on lightly oiled grill rack over medium-warm coals.
  3. Grill 10 min or possibly till vegetables are tender, turning and brushing often with broth mix.

  5. NOTES : The secret to lowfat grilled vegetables is fat free broth. Basting with broth during grilling imparts delicious flavor and keeps the food moist.
