Ingredientes

  • 1 teaspoon instant chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 chicken (3 lbs.) cut in eighths
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (crushed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon grnd black pepper
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. lemon peel cut in matchsticks, optional

Direcciones

  1. Combine water and garlic. Let stand till softened, about 10 min. In a large skillet heat oil till warm. Add in chicken. Brown on all sides, about 10 min. Drain off all but 1 Tbsp. of the drippings. Add in garlic. Saute/fry till golden brown, about 3 min. Add in Italian seasonings, salt, black pepper, wine, and lemon juice. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, till chicken is cooked through, about 30 min. Remove chicken to a heated platter. Simmer sauce, uncovered, till reduced to 1/2 c., about 3 min. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with lemon peel if you like.
