Ingredientes

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 cups Lowfat milk, scalded
  • 6 pcs Large eggs, beaten
  • 4 cups Heavy cream
  • 4 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Combine the sugar, flour and salt in a sauce pan. Slowly stir in warm lowfat milk.
  2. Cook over low heat for about 10 min, stirring constantly till mix has thickened.
  3. Mix a small amount of warm mix into Large eggs. Add in Large eggs to warm mix and cook a minute longer.
  4. Refrigerate mix in the refrigerator. Add in cream and vanilla.
  5. Pour into 1 gallon ice cream freezer and prepare as normal.
  6. Makes four qts, supposedly sufficient for 12 - 16 people.
  7. For extra rich frozen custard use all cream and omit lowfat milk.**
