Homemade Frozen Custard Cones

Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 T flour
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 c. cream, whipped

Direcciones

  1. Place the flour, cornstarch, sugar, and salt in a saucepan; add in the lowfat milk slowly, stirring to make a smooth mix. Cook over medium slow heat, stirring constantly till slightly thickened.Take out a little of the hot mix and stir into the egg yolks. Stir the egg mix into the hot custard. Cook 2 min, but don't bring to a boil. Add in vanilla. Put into freezing tray and freeze till mushy. Beat a couple min. Mix in the whipped cream and freeze till hard. Let soften a couple min and scoop into cups or possibly cones.
