Homespun Meat Pie

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 can (4 ounce.) mushrooms, liquid removed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 2 c. minced potatoes, cooked
  • 3 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 pound Velveeta, cubed
  • 1 tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Direcciones

  1. Combine meat, mushrooms, egg, onion, bread crumbs and seasonings. Mix lightly. Press meat mix onto bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min. Mash warm potatoes with lowfat milk. Stir in Velveeta, parsley and salt. Remove meat shell from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Drain meat shell. Fill with potato mix. Return to oven. Continue baking 10 min. 6 servings.
