  1. Combine meat, mushrooms, egg, onion, bread crumbs and seasonings. Mix lightly. Press meat mix onto bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min. Mash warm potatoes with lowfat milk. Stir in Velveeta, parsley and salt. Remove meat shell from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Drain meat shell. Fill with potato mix. Return to oven. Continue baking 10 min. 6 servings.

    I lost this recipe from a 1976 Kraft Cheese cookbook my grandma bought for me. My family loves this meat pie (so do I). I have cheated on occasion and used instant potatoe flakes with good results.
