Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. Wheat bran
  • 3 Tbsp. Boiling water
  • 2 lrg Egg whites or possibly 1/4 c. cholesterol free egg prod
  • 1/4 c. Skim lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 2/3 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr ds Salt

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 400 .
  2. Spray bottoms of 6 medium muffin c., 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" with nonstick cooking spray, or possibly line with paper baking c..
  3. Mix wheat bran and boiling water; reserve.
  4. Beat lowfat milk, brown sugar, oil, honey and egg whites in medium bowl.
  5. Stir in bran mix and remaining ingredients just till flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy).
  6. Divide batter proportionately among muffin c. (c. will be about 3/4 full).
  7. Sprinkle with sugar if you like.
  8. Bake about 20 to 25 min or possibly till golden. Immediately remove from pan.
