Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. Wheat bran
- 3 Tbsp. Boiling water
- 2 lrg Egg whites or possibly 1/4 c. cholesterol free egg prod
- 1/4 c. Skim lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
- 2/3 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr ds Salt

- Heat oven to 400 .
- Spray bottoms of 6 medium muffin c., 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" with nonstick cooking spray, or possibly line with paper baking c..
- Mix wheat bran and boiling water; reserve.
- Beat lowfat milk, brown sugar, oil, honey and egg whites in medium bowl.
- Stir in bran mix and remaining ingredients just till flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy).
- Divide batter proportionately among muffin c. (c. will be about 3/4 full).
- Sprinkle with sugar if you like.
- Bake about 20 to 25 min or possibly till golden. Immediately remove from pan.
