Honey Nut Stir Fry (Pork Or Chicken)

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb pork steak Or possibly boneless chicken breast
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp grnd ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil divided
  • 2 lrg carrots sliced diagonally
  • 2 stalk celery sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 c. cashews or possibly peanuts
  • 3 c. Warm cooked rice

Direcciones

  1. Cut pork into thin strips; set aside. Combine orange juice, honey, soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger in small bowl; mix well. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in carrots and celery; stir-fry about 3 minutes.
  2. Remove vegetables; set aside. Pour remaining 1tablespoon oil into skillet.
  3. Add in meat; stir-fry about 3 min. Return vegetables to skillet; add in sauce mix and nuts. Cook and stir over medium-high heat till sauce comes to a boil and thickens. Serve over rice.
  4. Makes 4-6 servings.
