Ingredientes

  • 12 ounce Boned and skinned chicken breasts (up TO 14)
  • 1 sm , warm chili pepper, minced
  • 3 x Scallions, sliced 1-inch thick
  • 1/2 x Inch piece fresh ginger root, minced
  • 3 x Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 x Sweet red pepper, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. , veg. oil

Direcciones

  1. Preparation:1. Clean and trim chicken of all visible fat, slice.
  2. In a large frying pan, saute/fry ginger, garlic, scallions and peppers till translucent/soft. Add in chicken and continue stir frying for a couple of min.
  3. Add in sherry and 3 Tbsp. water. Cover and cook for 5 - 10 min, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add in the soy sauce and cook covered another 5 - 10 min.
  5. Serve with rice.
  6. For a greater amount of sauce to pour over the rice, use more ginger, more garlic, and double the amount of liquid, sherry, water, and soy sauce.
  7. Additional warm peper to taste may also be added.
  8. Serves 2
