%20for%20me.%20I%20tend%20towards%20being%20a%20little%20bit%20dramatic.%20What%20have%20I%20been%20doing?%20Well,%20working%20for%20one.%20That%20is%20when%20I%20am%20not%20stuck%20out%20in%20the%20wilderness%20snowed%20in.%20Yeah,%20Marlborough,%20Massachusetts%20IS%20the%20wilderness%20as%20far%20as%20*I*%20am%20concerned.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20of%20all%20I%20decorated%20the%20laundry%20room.%20Dr.%20Food%20rolled%20his%20eyes%20when%20he%20saw%20that%20I%20bought%20this%20to%20put%20up%20(not%20really%20but%20I%20can%20tell%20he%20wanted%20to).%20I%20don't%20think%20he%20thought%20I%20would%20get%20off%20my%20ass%20to%20do%20this%20but%20while%20he%20was%20away%20I%20did.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESomeone%20really%20wishes%20that%20I%20would%20just%20chill.%20I%20think%20she%20hates%20when%20Dr.%20Food%20goes%20away%20because%20I%20do%20weird%20things%20like%20eat%20dinner%20over%20the%20sink%20and%20feed%20her%20things%20that%20I%20shouldn't.%20I%20think%20it%20makes%20her%20nervous.%20I%20think%20she%20really%20doesn't%20know%20what%20to%20think.%20I%20think%20she%20is%20a%20dog%20and%20was%20just%20sleeping%20on%20her%20blanket%20and%20I%20made%20a%20story%20up%20about%20it%20because%20I%20don't%20have%20much%20to%20say.%20I%20think%20you%20all%20may%20have%20left%20this%20blog%20post%20already...%20HELLO?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOk,%20so%20the%20Cherpumple%20story.%20I%20awoke%20(awoke?)%20early%20in%20the%20morning%20to%20fufill%20the%20mission%20of%20making%20my%20coworkers%20a%20special%20cake.%20It%20is%20a%20pie/cake%20called%20a%20Cherpumple.%20Cherry,%20Pumpkin,%20Apple%20pies,%20baked%20into%20cakes.%20Stacked%20up%20and%20frosted.%20I%20used%20Peach%20baked%20into%20a%20white%20cake.%20Pecan%20baked%20into%20a%20butter%20pecan%20cake.%20Last%20but%20not%20least%20the%20noble%20apple%20pie%20baked%20into%20a%20yellow%20cake%20mix.%20You%20can%20do%20whatever%20you%20want.%20My%20cake/pie%20is%20called%20a%20Pecapple%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20store%20bought%20pies%20and%20cake%20mix.%20You%20would%20have%20to%20be%20out%20of%20your%20mind%20even%20more%20than%20I%20am%20to%20make%20each%20component%20yourself.%20Afterall,%20it%20isn't%20fine%20pastry.%20It%20is%20over%20the%20edge%20Ew.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20I%20baked.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20baked...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20destroyed%20one%20layer%20so%20between%20baking%20I%20went%20to%20the%20store%20for%20another%20pie%20(first%20one%20was%20cherry%20and%20new%20one%20was%20pecan)%20and%20another%20cake%20mix.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20stacked%20and%20frosted.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20finished!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20took%20all%20day.%20Know%20what?%20It%20really%20was%20fun.%20Hard%20part%20was%20getting%20it%2030%20miles%20in%20the%20car.%20I%20did%20it%20though!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20think%20everyone%20liked%20it.%20If%20they%20didn't%20they%20didn't%20say%20anything%20because%20I%20think%20they%20knew%20that%20I%20may%20take%20my%20letter%20opener%20and%20bludgeon%20them%20if%20they%20didn't%20eat%20it%20and%20LIKE%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAt%20the%20end%20of%20this%20day%20that%20was%20St.%20Patricks%20day,%20I%20made%20myself%20cornbeef,%20cabbage,%20and%20tater%20tots.%20What?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDr.%20Food%20comes%20home%20tonight.%20Please%20do%20not%20tell%20him%20what%20I%20have%20been%20up%20to.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPecapple%20Cake%20Pie%20(switch%20pies%20and%20cake%20flavors%20as%20you%20wish)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20cake%20batter%20according%20to%20instructions.%20For%20each%20layer,%20pour%20about%201%201%E2%81%843%20cup%20of%20batter%20in%20the%20cake%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECarefully%20de-tin%20the%20baked%20pie%20and%20place%20it%20face%20up%20on%20top%20of%20the%20batter%20in%20the%20cake%20pan.%20Push%20down%20lightly%20to%20release%20any%20trapped%20air.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20enough%20batter%20on%20top%20to%20cover%20the%20pie.%20Bake%20about%2045%20minutes%20to%201%20hour%20(test%20with%20toothpick%20at%2045%20min.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECool%20and%20remove%20from%20pans%20then%20frost%20it%20like%20you%20mean%20it%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
