Receta INDIAN BUTTER CHICKEN
This spicy Indian butter recipe is simple and tasty serve with rice and Nann [indian bread]
Ingredientes
- 1tbls peanut oil
- 1shallot chopped
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 3 tbls butter unsalted
- 2tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbls ginger garlic paste
- 1tsp garam masala
- 1tspchili powder
- 1tsp ground cumin
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 plain yogurt
- 1cup half and half
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/4 tsp cayenne salt a pinch
- 1lb chickenboneless and skinless thighs or chicken breast
- 1tsp garan masala
- 1 pinch cayenne
- 1tbls cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Direcciones
- Heat 1 tbls oil in a large saucepanover medium heat
- Saute shallot and onion till soft
- stir in butter,lemon juice and ginger garlic paste
- add 1sp garam masala chili powder and bay leaf.
- stir for 2 minutes add tomato puree cook 2 more minutes
- keep stirring add half and half and yogurt and salt and pepper simmer on low for 10 minutes
- remove from heat and set aside.
- Heat 1 tbls oil in large skillet on medium heat
- cook cut up chicken until lightly browned about 10 minutes
- Reduce heat to low and and season with 1tsp garam masala
- and ceyenne stir a few spoonfuls of sauce and simmer till has reduced and chicken is cooked through
- stir cooked chicken into sauce.
- Mix together cornstarch and water to make a slurry stir into into chicken and sauce till thickened'
