Instant Asam Laksa (Sour Noodle)

Spicy, sour and "sardiny" tang, a sort of asam laksa on the go.

Ingredientes

  • 2 packets asam laksa instant noodles
  • 1 small tin sardine - drain out the sauce
  • 3 garlic - chopped
  • 2 shallots - sliced thinly
  • 1 lemongrass/serai - sliced thinly
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp oil1 tsp sugar
  • Lime wedges
  • For ganishing
  • Spring onions - shredded
  • Red/birds eye chilies - sliced

Direcciones

  1. Remove noodle from packet, rinse and drain.
  2. Into the heated oil, saute lemon grass, garlic and shallots.
  3. Pour 3-4 cups of water and add seasoning from noodle packet and sugar.
  4. (Note: Taste and add salt if needed)
  5. When soup is heated through, add noodles and sardine pieces.
  6. Let it boil and once noodles are cooked, remove from heat.
  7. Garnish with spring onion, chilies and serve with lime wedge.
