Ingredientes

  • 8 x extra large egg yolks
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. amaretto or possibly Frangelico liqueur
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 4 scoop orange sorbet or possibly sherbet
  • 2 c. lengthwise halved fresh strawberries
  • 1 c. fresh blueberries Instant-read thermometer
  • 4 x red-wine glasses

Direcciones

  1. Whip egg yolks in the top of a double boiler (upper pan shouldn't touch warm water).
  2. Stir in sugar and liqueur, at about 165 degrees.
  3. Cold till below 40 degrees; mix in whipped cream and mix well; set completed zabaione aside.
  4. Place one scoop of orange sorbet or possibly sherbet inside each wine glass.
  5. Add in 1/2 c. of fresh strawberries and 1/4 c. of fresh blueberries to each wine glass; top with zabaione.
  6. This recipe yields 4 servings.
