Ingredientes

  • 12 slc Italian bread 1/2" thick
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp chopped fresh garlic
  • 2 x tomatoes seeded, minced
  • 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 8 x minced fresh basil leaves (or possibly 1/2 tspn dry basil) Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add in chopped garlic to extra virgin olive oil. Heat oil-garlic mix for one minute to infuse flavors (best done in microwave). Brush lightly on one side of bread slices. Place oil-side up on baking sheet and "toast" till crisp. Don't let bread burn.
  2. For the topping: Mix all ingredients together. Divide proportionately over each slice of bruschetta.
  3. This recipe yields 12 slices.
