Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Buttermilk
  • 1 stk butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 5 x Large eggs, separated
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Minced nuts
  • 1 can (small) coconut
  • 1 pkt (8-ounce) cream cheese
  • 1/2 stk butter, softened
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 c. Minced pecans

Direcciones

  1. CAKE: Cream together the butter & shortening. Add in sugar & egg yolks & beat.
  2. Combine flour & soda & add in to creamed mix, alternating with buttermilk.
  3. Add in vanilla, nuts & coconut. Beat egg whites & mix in. Pour batter into 3 greased & floured pans & bake at 350 for 20 min. ICING: Combine all ingredients & ice cake.
