Italian Ice Cream (Gelato)

Ingredientes

  • 2 env unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 quart Whole lowfat milk
  • 2 c. Dry lowfat milk solids
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (up to 2)

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over cool water and set aside. In saucepan put other ingredients. Add in gelatin and cook over medium heat till gelatin dissolves.
  2. Let cold. Freeze in refrigerator trays to mushy stage. Remove and beat with mixer. Return to trays and freeze till hard.
