Ingredientes

  • 4 x mild Italian sausage, (about 1 lb.)
  • 32 x 1 inch cubes Italian bread
  • 24 x cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh oregano
  • 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Prick sausages all over; place in microwaveable dish. Cover with plastic wrap; microwave at High till hard, about 5 min. Let cold slightly; cut into quarters Onto each of 8 metal skewers, alternately thread 4 bread cubes, 3 tomatoes and 2 sausage pcs. In small bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper; brush some over kabobs.
  2. Place kabobs on greased grill over medium-high heat; brush with some of the oil mix. Close lid and cook, turning and basting twice with remaining oil mix, till sausage is browned and bread is crisp, about 8 min. Serve sprinkled with cheese.
