Ingredientes

  • 1/2 x Basic Dough in cookbook
  • 1 env premelted chocolate (1 oz)
  • 1/4 c. minced pistachio nuts or possibly walnuts green food coloring
  • 1 tsp rum flavoring red food coloring

Direcciones

  1. Divide one half Basic Dough into 3 parts. To first part, fold in 1 envelope (1 oz) premelted chocolate. To second part, fold in 1/4 c. minced pistachio nuts or possibly walnuts and few drops green food color. To third part, fold in 1 tsp. rum flavoring and few drops red food color. Shape each part into rectangle, 8x3 inches. Layer rectangles, placing green dough in center. Press together. Wrap; refrigerateat least 2 hrs. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cut dough crosswise into 1/8-inch slices. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 5 to 7 min or possibly till no imprint remains when lightly touched with finger.
  2. Makes about 4 dozen.
  3. Yield: 4 dozen
