Joan's Sweet Potato Biscuit Recipe

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb cooked sweet potatoes steamed or possibly boiled
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 1/4 c. bisquick

Direcciones

  1. Cold and peel sweet potatoes. Mix together sweet potatoes, brown sugar, Bisquick, and water. Combine ingredients thoroughly (the mix will be moister than regular biscuits). Flour table; roll biscuit mix to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with a 2 1/2 inch cutter. Place on greased sheet pan.
  2. Bake at 350 for 16 to 18 min (watch them, remember some of mine burned).
  3. Don't overcook (obviously!).
  4. Yields 1 1/2 dozen; serve with (honey)
  5. butter !!!
