Joe's Blackened 'N' Grilled Alaska Seafood

Ingredientes

  • 1 tsp blackening or possibly Cajun seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp onion pwdr
  • 1/8 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 c. olive or possibly canola oil
  • 4 x salmon or possibly halibut steaks or possibly fillets (4 to 6 ounce ea)

Direcciones

  1. Blend all seasonings with oil and pour into gallon size zip-lock plastic bag. Add in salmon, turning over to coat on all sides. Chill salmon while heating grill.
  2. Heat heavy duty skillet or possibly range top. Sear seafood, about 15 to 30 seconds on each side. Remove to platter.
  3. Transfer seafood to oiled warm grill. Turn once, basting with remaining marinade; cook about 6 to 12 min per inch of thickness. Don't overcook.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
