Receta Joe's Blackened 'N' Grilled Alaska Seafood

Ingredientes
- 1 tsp blackening or possibly Cajun seasoning mix
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp onion pwdr
- 1/8 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 c. olive or possibly canola oil
- 4 x salmon or possibly halibut steaks or possibly fillets (4 to 6 ounce ea)
Direcciones
- Blend all seasonings with oil and pour into gallon size zip-lock plastic bag. Add in salmon, turning over to coat on all sides. Chill salmon while heating grill.
- Heat heavy duty skillet or possibly range top. Sear seafood, about 15 to 30 seconds on each side. Remove to platter.
- Transfer seafood to oiled warm grill. Turn once, basting with remaining marinade; cook about 6 to 12 min per inch of thickness. Don't overcook.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
