dye%20my%20hair!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20never%20captured%20it%20in%20a%20photo,%20but%20over%20the%20last%20week%20or%20so%20I%20lost%2090%25%20of%20my%20purple%20and%20was%20left%20with%20a%20lot%20of%20white/grey%20streaks.%20%20Since%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20an%20appointment%20to%20go%20back%20to%20brown%20for%20another%20two%20weeks,%20this%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20exactly%20a%20good%20thing.%20%20So%20last%20night%20the%20husband%20helped%20me%20sit%20with%20my%20head%20in%20a%20bowl%20of%20concentrated%20Kool%20Aid.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20windy%20today!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99ve%20still%20got%20some%20white%20but%20overall%20it%20looks%20much%20better.%20%20We%E2%80%99ll%20have%20to%20see%20how%20long%20the%20color%20lasts.%20%20I%20used%20to%20dye%20my%20highlights%20with%20Kool%20Aid%20in%20high%20school%20and%20I%20remember%20getting%20at%20least%20a%20couple%20of%20weeks%20out%20of%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20hair%20photos%20were%20taken%20on%20my%20way%20to%20work.%20%20I%20woke%20up%20this%20morning%20feeling%20a%20bit%20under%20the%20weather;%20I%20had%20a%20fever%20and%20I%20was%20super%20achy%20all%20over.%20%20Adam%20fed%20me%20an%20aspirin%20and%20I%20stayed%20in%20bed%20until%20the%20last%20possible%20second.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20feeling%20much%20better%20now%20%7Bknock%20on%20wood%7D.%20%20And%20thankfully%20I%20was%20only%20working%20a%20partial%20shift.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20skipped%20breakfast%20for%20bed%20and%20was%20very%20excited%20about%20food%20when%20I%20got%20home%20this%20afternoon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1/3%20cup%20of%20Nature%E2%80%99s%20Path%20Coconut%20Chia%20Granola%20with%20Naked%20Vanilla%20Oat%20Milk%20and%20tons%20of%20chopped%20dapple%20plum%20and%20nectarine.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlus%20lots%20of%20tea.%20%20A%20cup%20of%20Revolution%20Tea%20Lavender%20Earl%20Grey,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20a%20cup%20of%20chai%20with%201%20tsp%20honey%20an%20hour%20or%20so%20later.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20carried%20the%20lavender%20theme%20over%20to%20my%20snack%20as%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20mom%20got%20these%20floral%20candies%20from%20a%20student%20whose%20parents%20are%20from%20Japan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20dad%20says%20they%20all%20taste%20like%20peach,%20but%20I%20swear%20the%20ones%20I%20tried%20had%20subtle%20differences.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20spent%20a%20long-ish%20time%20on%20errands%20this%20evening%20and%20I%20got%20a%20small%20plate%20of%20hot%20bar%20to%20keep%20from%20getting%20too%20cranky.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMaple%20cinnamon%20roasted%20sweet%20potatoes%20plus%20saut%C3%A9ed%20veggies%20and%203%20pieces%20of%20General%20Tso%20tofu.%20%20It%E2%80%99s%20been%20ages%20since%20we%E2%80%99ve%20roasted%20sweet%20potato%20fries%20and%20we%20definitely%20need%20to%20make%20them%20again%20soon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDinner%20didn%E2%80%99t%20take%20very%20long%20to%20prepare%20once%20we%20got%20home,%20but%20it%20sure%20was%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%201.5%20servings%20of%20Wegman%E2%80%99s%20Don%E2%80%99t%20Be%20a%20Chicken%20Meatless%20Nuggets%20dipped%20in%20honey.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20were%20great,%20far%20more%20enjoyable%20than%20I%20ever%20find%20chicken%20nuggets%20to%20be.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20use%20a%20hot%20spinach%20salad%20for%20our%20veggie%20component.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(recipe%20to%20follow)%20We%20loved%20it.%20%20The%20spinach%20was%20super%20creamy%20and%20there%20was%20such%20a%20good%20mix%20of%20textures.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDinner%20didn%E2%80%99t%20really%20fill%20me%20up%20though,%20and%20I%20ate%20some%20Smart%20Fries%20while%20I%20wrote%20this%20post.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMuch%20better.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20skillet%20over%20medium-high%20heat,%20brown%20mushrooms%20with%20butter%20and%20salt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20spinach%20to%20mushrooms,%20tossing%20until%20greens%20are%20completely%20wilted.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20remaining%20ingredients%20to%20pan%20and%20cook%201%20more%20minute,%20stirring%20regularly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20hope%20everyone%20is%20having%20a%20good%20weekend!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHave%20you%20ever%20dyed%20your%20hair%20with%20Kool%20Aid?%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
