Ingredientes

  • 4 x Green chile peppers, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 lrg Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Grnd coriander seeds
  • 2 tsp Grnd turmeric
  • 1 tsp Each, grnd cumin seeds, cinnamon, grnd mustard seeds
  • 4 c. Unflavored yogurt
  • 2 lb Boneless lamb, cubed
  • 1 lrg Onion, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Clarified butter Salt to taste

Direcciones

  1. This is a Kashmiri curry.
  2. Place chiles, ginger, garlic, mined onion, spices and yogurt in a blender or possibly food processor and process till well mixed.
  3. Spoon mix over lamb, tossing to coat well, cover and chill for 3 hrs.
  4. Saute/fry sliced onion in clarified butter. Don't let onion brown. Add in lamb and the yogurt marinade, mix all together; cover and simmer till meat is tender, 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Serves 4.
