Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. Lard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Evaporated lowfat milk *
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. Flour, sifted
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Mixed with 1/3 c water.
  2. Seperate Large eggs; beat whites till frothy. Beat in 1/2 c. of the sugar; keep beating till whites form stiff peaks.
  3. In another mixing bowl cream lard with remaining c. of sugar. When softened add in flour, salt, and baking pwdr. Beat for about a minute. Add in egg yolks, evaporated lowfat milk mixed with water, and vanilla and mix well.
  4. Carefully mix in egg white mix. Bake in a 3-by-4-by-12-inch buttered cake tin for 30 min in 350 degree oven.
