Ingredientes

  • 6 x baking potatoes butter for greasing
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 2 x garlic cloves chopped Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese

Direcciones

  1. Thinly slice potatoes and layer into greased gratin dish or possibly 1 1/2 qt casserole. Mix lowfat milk, cream, garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Pour over potatoes. Sprinkle cheese proportionately on top.
  2. Place dish on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees till potatoes are fork tender and top is nicely browned, 1 hour 30 min. Cover casserole with foil halfway through baking to keep potatoes from getting too brown.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
