Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 x Tiny onion, chopped
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 c. Long-grain rice
  • 2 c. Chicken stock
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme
  • 1/2 x Bay leaf
  • 1 med Lemon's rind, finely grated
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter

Direcciones

  1. In heavy saucepan, heat butter. Add in onion and garlic and saute/fry till translucent/soft. Add in rice and stir to coat grains proportionately in butter. Add in stock, parsley, thyme and bay leaf and stir.
  2. Bring to boil, reduce heat to med-low, cover and simmer 25-30 mins till liquid is absorbed. Remove lid, stir in lemon rind and butter. Serve immediately.
  3. Savory dish to serve with grilled meats. May be made ahead and very gently reheated.
