Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Italian black olives,pitted
  • 1/4 c. Capers, liquid removed
  • 1/4 c. Anchovy fillets
  • 1/4 c. Extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp. Lemon juice, fresh squeezed

  1. In food processor or possibly blender, mix all ingredients together to obtain a smooth spread, about 10 seconds. Serve this olive paste "peasant caviar" in a bowl as a side dish to be spread on rustic Italian bread for picnics, barbecues, or possibly a buffet appetizer. Chef's tip: to pit, place olive on a board and press with a knife blade. The pit should easily be removed with your fingers.
