%20so%20I%20opted%20for%20a%20recipe%20my%20friend%20has%20dubbed%20%22Little%20Rolls%20of%20Heaven%20You%20Can%20Eat%22.%20The%20name%20says%20it%20all.%20These%20buns%20are%20fab-u-lous.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20time%20I%20made%20them,%20I%20got%20all%20Martha-Stewart%20and%20cooked%20up%20my%20own%20fresh%20Saskatoon%20berries,%20yada%20yada%20yada...%20this%20time%20was%20much%20simpler,%20and%20much%20better.%20I%20spread%20a%20layer%20of%20Grandpa%20Jones'%20saskatoon%20jam%20on%20the%20freshly-buttered%20dough,%20then%20sprinkled%20a%20generous%20helping%20of%20brown%20sugar,%20and%20then%20lightly%20sprinkled%20it%20with%20Spices%20for%20Fruit%20Crumble.%20Dear%20God,%20they%20were%20amazing.%20You%20could%20do%20this%20with%20any%20jam,%20and%20I%20do%20believe%20it's%20my%20duty%20as%20a%20food%20blogger%20to%20try%20out%20many%20more%20variations%20of%20this%20recipe%20in%20the%20future!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20on%20the%20menu%20was%20something%20that%20caught%20my%20eye%20in%20this%20month's%20Rachael%20Ray%20magazine.%20There%20are%20tons%20of%20different%20skewer%20ideas,%20from%20appetizers%20to%20main%20courses%20to%20desserts,%20and%20I%20was%20intrigued%20by%20the%20%22Melon%20Mojito%22%20skewers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESoak%20the%20watermelon%20in%20a%20mixture%20of%20rum,%20lime%20juice,%20and%20mint%20leaves.%20(I%20let%20mine%20soak%20for%2024%20hours!)%20Place%20them%20on%20skewers%20and%20sprinkle%20with%20sugar.%20Grill%20over%20medium-high%20heat%20for%20about%201%20minute%20per%20side,%20turning%20it%20so%20that%20each%20side%20of%20the%20watermelon%20cubes%20gets%20grilled.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20my%20grill%20pan%20and%20put%20the%20watermelon%20on%20fondue%20forks,%20which%20worked%20well.%20Unfortunately%20I%20forgot%20to%20sprinkle%20them%20with%20sugar,%20and%20this%20may%20have%20been%20a%20key%20step,%20because%20these%20really%20didn't%20live%20up%20to%20my%20expectations.%20Who%20knows%20if%20sugar%20was%20the%20all-important%20ingredient,%20but%20I'm%20glad%20I%20gave%20these%20a%20shot,%20and%20I%20likely%20won't%20bother%20again.%20(But%20they're%20still%20pretty%20cool.)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
