%20day%20so%20an%20at%20home%20breakfast%20was%20not%20going%20to%20happen.%20%20Instead%20I%20packed%20some%20healthy%20snacks%20to%20eat%20in%20between%20classes.%20%20A%20Blueberry%20Crisp%20Cliff%20Bar,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20a%20local%20apple.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20learned%20about%20amino%20acids%20and%20proteins%20in%20NTR%20100%20today%20and%20it%20was%20totally%20fascinating.%20%20Did%20you%20know%20that%20only%20animal%20protein%20sources%20can%20provide%20a%20%E2%80%9Ccomplete%20protein?%E2%80%9D%20%20Vegetable%20sources%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20the%20correct%20ratio%20of%20the%20essential%20amino%20acids.%20%20However,%20through%20%E2%80%9Ccomplementary%20proteins%E2%80%9D%20vegetarians%20can%20get%20what%20they%20need.%20%20For%20example,%20beans%20and%20rice%20are%20a%20complimentary%20protein.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20obviously%20not%20vegetarian,%20but%20we%20do%20eat%20a%20lot%20of%20meatless%20meals%20so%20it%E2%80%99s%20definitely%20something%20to%20think%20about.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20class%20I%20headed%20over%20to%20the%20gym.%20%20It%E2%80%99s%20a%2030minute%20walk%20from%20my%20apartment%20(1hour%20roundtrip)%20so%20gyming%20it%20in%20the%20morning%20this%20year%20is%20just%20not%20realistic;%20instead%20I%E2%80%99m%20trying%20to%20make%20my%20workout%20part%20of%20my%20on-campus%20time.%20%20This%20weekend%20I%20picked%20up%20a%20pretty%20pink%20lock%20%E2%80%93%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20today%20I%20brought%20a%20bag%20full%20of%20gym%20essentials%20%E2%80%93%20sports%20bras,%20socks,%20shoes,%20outfits,%20scrunchies,%20water%20bottle%20%E2%80%93%20to%20store%20on%20campus.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%E2%80%99s%20workout%20was%2030minutes%20on%20the%20elliptical,%20random,%20level%206.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdam%20could%20even%20give%20me%20a%20ride%20home%20so%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20have%20to%20walk%20in%20the%20sun,%20yay!%20%20We%20had%20some%20business%20to%20take%20care%20of%20so%20I%20replenished%20with%20coconut%20water%20while%20I%20waited%20for%20lunch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELunch-lunch%20was%20a%20package%20of%20Allergaroo%20Chili%20Mac.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20%E2%80%98beefed%20it%20up%E2%80%99%20by%20stirring%20in%204oz%20of%20frozen%20peas.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYum.%20%20This%20packet%20was%20still%20part%20of%20my%20shipment%20of%20free%20samples%20but%20I%20think%20the%20chili%20mac%20is%20fantasmic,%20I%E2%80%99ll%20definitely%20buy%20more%20with%20my%20own%20$.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99m%20still%20looking%20for%20a%20fruit-dairy%20component%20to%20lunch%20so%20I%E2%80%99ll%20probably%20have%20a%20study%20snack%20in%20a%20bit,%20I%E2%80%99ll%20update%20the%20post%20if%20I%20do.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDinner%E2%80%99s%20gonna%20be%20exciting%E2%80%A6..%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E***Updated%20to%20add%20-I%20found%20my%20dairy-fruit%20(+%20sweet!)%20snack.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20started%20with%20an%20Oikos%20free%20sample,%200%25%20strawberry.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20don%E2%80%99t%20know%20why%20I%20was%20expecting%20this%20to%20be%20flavored%20yogurt,%20but%20I%20was%20a%20bit%20surprised%20to%20find%20plain%20with%20jam%20on%20the%20bottom.%20%20In%20the%20end%20I%20loved%20it%20though;%20it%20was%20the%20perfect%20amount%20of%20sweet!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20topped%20my%20yogurt%20with%20a%20sliced%20black%20plum,%20a%20sliced%20plucot,%20and%20part%20of%20a%20crumbled%20cookie.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20definitely%20did%20not%20need%20the%20cookie%20(this%20was%20really%20sweet),%20but%20I%20had%20to%20throw%20out%20the%20last%20of%20the%20burnt%20granola%20and%20I%20had%20my%20heart%20set%20on%20something%20crumbly!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20you%20have%20a%20locker%20at%20your%20gym?%20%20Do%20you%20bring%20your%20stuff%20for%20the%20day%20or%20keep%20a%20bag%20stocked%20at%20the%20gym?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
