Loin Roast With Smoky Barbecue Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 x Tendersweet loin roast
  • 25 gm Butter, (1oz)
  • 1 x Onion, minced
  • 1 x Clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Tomato puree
  • 2 Tbsp. Dark brown soft sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Dry mustard pwdr
  • 1 tsp Clear honey
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli pwdr Salt and freshly grnd black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Cook the loin roast following the guidelines on the pack.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat the butter, add in onion and garlic and cook for 5 min till softened.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients, 150 ml (1/4 pint) water and seasoning to taste.
  4. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 min, stirring occasionally
  5. NOTES : A quick and easy loin roast.
