Ingredientes

  • 1 lb grnd beef
  • 1 x diced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. diced fresh jalapeno pepper
  • 1 can kidney beans - (15 ounce) with liquid
  • 1 can peeled diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce)
  • 1 can tomato sauce - (8 ounce)
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1 x bay leaf Grated cheddar cheese Diced onion Canned whole jalapeno chili peppers

Direcciones

  1. Brown grnd beef in a large saucepan over medium heat. Drain fat.
  2. Add in onion and pepper and saute/fry for about two min. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve one c. in a bowl with the optional cheese, diced onion and whole jalapeno garnish on top.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
