%20%20My%20personal%20school%20semester%20seems%20to%20have%20ended%20two%20weeks%20ago,%20and%20since%20real%20school%20runs%20until%20December%2015th%20it%E2%80%99s%20been%20sort%20of%20a%20problem.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20today%20was%20busy.%20%20So%20busy%20in%20fact,%20that%20I%20woke%20up%20at%207:30%20but%20didn%E2%80%99t%20have%20my%20first%20bites%20sips%20until%20after%2010am.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20mug%20of%20White%20Christmas%20tea%20with%201/4%20cup%20of%20eggnog.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20tea%20contained%20peppermint%20and%20ginger%20so%20all%20of%20my%20favorite%20holiday%20flavors%20were%20present%20in%20this%20mug.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20morning%20included%20dog%20walking,%20house%20decorating%20and%20grocery%20shopping.%20%20Then%20I%20took%20a%20quick%20break%20for%20lunch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20open-faced%20sandwich%20was%20stupendous.%20%20I%20topped%20a%20thick%20slice%20of%20bread%20with%20cranberry%20relish,%20some%20shredded%20rotisserie%20chicken,%20and%20a%20few%20slices%20of%20melty%20sharp%20cheddar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20tang%20from%20the%20cranberries%20paired%20really%20nicely%20with%20the%20cheddar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20got%20a%20mini%20candy%20cane%20chill%20blizzard.%20There%20were%20little%20pieces%20of%20crunchy%20peppermint%20throughout%20and%20I%20loved%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20flavor%20and%20texture%20actually%20reminded%20me%20of%20that%20great%20peppermint%20stick%20chocolate%20bar%20Adam%20and%20I%20ate%20last%20week.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20made%20a%20quick%20stop%20at%20home%20to%20pick%20up%20the%20little%20destructor%20and%20then%20we%20headed%20to%20Pet%20Smart.%20%20Someone%20has%20been%20getting%20chilly%20on%20walks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh.%20My.%20Goodness.%20%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20even%20have%20the%20words%20to%20describe%20how%20cute%20Webster%20looks%20in%20his%20new%20sweater%20(thanks,%20mom!).%20%20Sidenote%20%E2%80%93%20every%20single%20time%20we%20go%20out%20on%20a%20walk%20someone/many%20people%20comment%20on%20how%20cute%20Webster%20is,%20so%20I%20always%20tell%20him%20that%20he%E2%80%99s%20%E2%80%9Cthe%20toast%20of%20the%20town.%E2%80%9D%20%20Then%20today%20I%20got%20to%20ask%20how%20The%20Toast%20liked%20feeling%20toasty!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20evening%20included%20coffee%20cake%20cooking,%20more%20cleaning,%20and%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20split%20a%20bag%20of%20Bird%E2%80%99s%20Eye%20garlic%20cauliflower,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20made%20a%20batch%20of%20Rachael%20Ray%E2%80%99s%20Beer-Braised%20Meatballs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20subbed%20in%20turkey%20meat%20and%20chicken%20stock%20for%20the%20beefy%20bits,%20but%20otherwise%20followed%20the%20recipe.%20%20We%20think%20this%20one%E2%80%99s%20a%20keeper.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20for%20dessert%20I%20tried%20a%20small%20slice%20of%20the%20coffee%20cake.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPretty%20good.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20actually%20not%20the%20hugest%20coffee%20cake%20fan%20but%20I%E2%80%99m%20hosting%20book%20club%20tomorrow%20and%20I%20needed%20a%20brunch-appropriate%20cake%20(we%20read%20I%20Was%20Told%20There%E2%80%99d%20Be%20Cake).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAre%20you%20a%20pet%20dressed?%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20really%20into%20it%20(my%20mom%20tried%20to%20buy%20Webster%20a%20bandana%20of%20the%20month%20club%20and%20we%20staunchly%20put%20our%20feet%20down)%20but%20the%20dog%20seems%20kind%20of%20wimpy%20and%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20want%20him%20to%20be%20unhappy%20on%20walks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
