Louisiana Crawfish Quiche

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Crawfish tails
  • 1 c. Fresh mushrooms -- sliced
  • 1 c. Green onions -- minced
  • 1/2 c. Butter -- melted
  • 4 x Large eggs -- well-beaten
  • 1/2 c. Half 'n Half or possibly light cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 c. Mozzarella -- shredded
  • 1 x 9" pie shell -- unbaked

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry mushrooms and green onions in butter till tender. Set aside. In large bowl, combine Large eggs, lowfat milk, salt, dry mustard, nutmeg and cheese. Mix in crawfish, mushrooms and onions. Pour mix into pie shell. Bake at 400 for 15 min. Reduce heat to 300 and continue to bake for 30 min or possibly till knife inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to stand 5 min before serving.
