Receta Louisiana Seafood Gumbo (American)

Ingredientes
- 4 slc bacon
- 1 x onion minced
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 1 c. minced celery
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 c. minced fresh or possibly canned tomatoes
- 4 c. fish stock
- 2 c. seafood - shrimp, crab, and/or possibly fish fillets
- 2 c. sliced okra in rounds
- 1 c. cooked rice
Direcciones
- Fry the bacon til crisp, then remove and reserve. Add in the onion, pepper, and celery to the bacon fat and saute/fry till yellow. Add in the parsley, tomatoes, and stock, and cook till all the vegetables are tender. Stir in the seafood, the okra, and the rice. Cook for 10 min, till the fish is just cooked.
- When ready to serve, ladle into bowls and top with the reserved bacon, crumbled.
- Comments: Superb American meal, especially to you okra lovers out there. Serve warm to 4 to 6 people.
