Ingredientes

  • 16 ounce Macaroni and cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter, (up to 4)
  • 1/4 c. Chopped onion, or possibly more
  • 6 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 c. Heavy cream
  • 1 c. Dry white wine
  • 1 lb Shredded cheddar

Direcciones

  1. Cook macaroni in rapidly boiling water till not quite tender. Drain and reserve. Heat butter in a saucepan an cook the onion till tender, but not browned. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Slowly add in the cream and wine.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till thickened. Add in cheese and stir till melted. Combine the macaroni and cheese and mix well. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-25 min or possibly till thoroughly heated through and bubbly.
