Ingredientes

  • Flour seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic pwdr
  • 2 pound boneless chicken breasts, halved
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 sm. can mandarin oranges with juice liquid removed and reserved
  • 4 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 sm. can pineapple chunks, liquid removed
  • 1 bunch broccoli flowerettes, steamed 5 minutes.

Direcciones

  1. Dredge chicken in the seasoned flour. In large skillet heat the butter. Add in oil and heat till warm. Add in chicken and brown on both sides.
  2. Mix juice from mandarin oranges, lemon juice, orange juice, honey, soy sauce and ginger. Pour the sauce over the chicken, cover and simmer 30 min.
  3. When chicken is fork tender, add in the oranges, pineapple chunks, water chestnuts and broccoli and simmer just till heated through.
