.%20A%20little%20before%208,%20we%20sat%20down%20on%20the%20couch%20to%20watch%20TV%20and%20found%20nothing%20on,%20so%20we%20decided%20to%20watch%20Food,%20Inc.%20from%20our%20Netflix%20online%20queue.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFood,%20Inc.,%20is%20a%20documentary%20I'd%20recommend,%20but%20not%20to%20the%20faint%20of%20heart.%20It's%20a%20very%20interesting%20view%20of%20the%20food%20industry%20in%20America,%20some%20of%20it%20a%20bit%20horrifying.%20As%20the%20film%20ended,%20we%20both%20questioned%20our%20own%20eating%20habits.%20Fortunately%20we're%20in%20far%20better%20shape%20than%20many%20others%20-%20we%20cook%20at%20home,%20using%20fresh%20ingredients.%20I%20eagerly%20await%20the%20summer%20farmer's%20market%20in%20town%20to%20get%20local%20produce.%20But%20one%20switch%20I%20haven't%20made%20is%20the%20switch%20from%20regular%20to%20organic%20meat.%20Food,%20Inc.%20helped%20me%20see%20just%20why%20the%20switch%20might%20be%20a%20good%20one,%20but%20even%20for%20a%20middle%20class%20couple%20like%20us,%20the%20price%20tags%20are%20pretty%20steep.%20But%20after%20watching%20the%20film,%20it's%20something%20I'll%20certainly%20be%20investigating%20further.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20sure%20lots%20of%20other%20foodies%20have%20seen%20the%20film,%20so%20curious%20what%20your%20thoughts%20are.%20Have%20you%20made%20the%20switch?%20Have%20you%20chosen%20selected%20organic%20products%20to%20use?%20Why?%20Please%20share%20your%20thoughts%20-%20I'd%20love%20to%20know.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBack%20to%20the%20mango...%20My%20local%20farm%20market%20had%20fresh%20mangoes%20on%20special%20for%2069%20cents%20so%20I%20grabbed%20a%20beauty%20and%20headed%20home.%20I%20love%20mango%20flavor%20but%20I've%20never%20been%20a%20big%20fan%20of%20the%20fruit%20on%20it's%20own.%20I%20decided%20a%20hot%20summer%20day%20called%20for%20a%20nice%20cool%20smoothie.%20It%20was%20cold,%20thick%20and%20just%20what%20the%20doctor%20ordered%20as%20temps%20rose%20into%20the%2090s.%20One%20thing%20I%20love%20about%20smoothies%20(aside%20from%20the%20freakish%20power%20I%20feel%20as%20the%20blender%20does%20its%20thing)%20is%20their%20adaptability.%20They're%20a%20great%20way%20to%20use%20extra%20fruit%20and%20there%20are%20millions%20of%20possible%20combinations.%20I've%20got%20a%20pineapple%20in%20the%20fridge%20that's%20probably%20headed%20the%20same%20direction.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBottom%20line,%20this%20one%20was%20delish!%20My%20inexpensive%20little%20mango%20became%20a%20late%20morning%20treat%20that%20tasted%20like%20a%20million%20bucks.%20Give%20it%20a%20try,%20or%20substitute%20your%20favorite%20fruit.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20ice%20cubes,%20mango,%20lime%20juice%20and%20yogurt%20in%20a%20blender.%20Blend%20until%20smooth.%20Pour%20into%20a%20tall%20chilled%20glass%20and%20garnish%20with%20lime%20and%20strawberry.%20Serve%20immediately.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%201%20large%20or%202%20small%20smoothies.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
