Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. bourbon
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 c. salted pecan halves, toasted, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1-1/2 teaspoon of water

Direcciones

  1. Combine bourbon and maple syrup in heavy sauce pan and reduce by half on medium high heat.
  2. Add in heavy cream and reduce by half one more time.
  3. Add in the cornstarch & water combination to the simmering liquid.
  4. Stir constantly till it thickens.
  5. Add in pecans and stir. Keep hot and serve over pork.
  6. Makes 2 c. of sauce.
