Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. regular oats
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. chilled butter cut into small pcs or possibly stick margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. minced walnuts
  • 7 c. sliced peeled Rome apple (about 3 pounds)
  • 1/4 c. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375degrees.
  2. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring c.; level with a knife. Combine flour, sugar, oats, and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon in a medium bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender or possibly 2 knives till mix is crumbly. Stir in walnuts.
  3. Combine apple and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; toss well. Spoon apple mix into an 8-inch square baking dish or possibly 1-1/2-qt casserole. Sprinkle with crumb mix. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min or possibly till golden. Serve hot.
  4. Yield: 9 servings.
