  • 2 Tbsp. Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 5 Tbsp. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Dry sherry, or possibly to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Apple juice concentrate

  1. Here is a good marinade sauce thats low in salt and cholesterol.

  3. Combine ingredients in a small bowl 2. Use as a marinade

  5. VARIATIONS
  6. Add in 1 tsp. fresh grated ginger root, 1/2 to 1 tsp. fresh chopped garlic, 1/2 to 1 tsp. grated orange rind, 1/2 tsp. Dijon style no-salt added mustard, 1/4 tsp. sesame oil or possibly 1/4 tsp. warm chili oil.
  7. To thicken marinade to be use as gravy, combine 1 tsp. cornstarch or possibly arrowroot and 2 Tbsp. cool water. Combine marinade and cornstarch mix in a small saucepan and heat till bubbly.
