Marinara Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 2 tbsp. olive or salad oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 sm. onion, minced
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon basil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt

Direcciones

  1. In medium saucepan over medium heat, in warm extra virgin olive oil, cook garlic and onion till tender, about 5 min.
  2. Stir in tomatoes and their liquid.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to low.
  4. Cover and cook 20 min or until mix is thickened, stirring occasionally.
